So I had a brainwave yesterday. My 50mm f1.4 lens is so old that it will get stuck on my (very old) digital camera if I try to use it. But, aha! What if I put it on an extension tube? Well it works just fine at taking pictures of a grumpy looking Crumb. But it’ll only focus super close. . .

Trinket got bigger in the last couple of months and is almost a full-size cat now. She’s still obsessed with playing and doing her little ‘social roll’ on the regular. . .

Back to cat pics, I’m afraid. It came down in torrents last night. The dams are nearly at 60%. But the sun is shining beautifully for the liesured classes in Cape Town this afternoon. . .

While I’m going through some ancient pics, this is one I’ve always been fond of. Scanned a bit small. I used a clunky old Takumar 400mm lens and my old Pentax MX with Tri-X film. I’m still interested in making wildlife pics with B&W, though it’s not as original an idea as it was back in 2002 or whenever.
