Trinket got bigger in the last couple of months and is almost a full-size cat now. She’s still obsessed with playing and doing her little ‘social roll’ on the regular. . .

Back to cat pics, I’m afraid. It came down in torrents last night. The dams are nearly at 60%. But the sun is shining beautifully for the liesured classes in Cape Town this afternoon. . .
BACK HOME NOW: she just popped over the wall 3 days later like nothing had happened- back to our emotionally wrecked husks. #Observatory #capetown #cats #catsofcapetown #kittensofcapetown #hartleyvale #uct Missing since yesterday in Observatory.
None of this is of any interest to Mr. Crumb.
All cats all the time I’m afraid. I should start taking more interesting pics again as Feb goes on. My handsome boy is in danger of getting fat. He eats twice as much as the others. This is that same 105mm Nikkor from the ‘70s that I posted last year. It’s my fave 35mm lens at the moment. On this crop sensor it’s a 158mm f2.5 - a perfect portrait lens.
A tough old boy we got to see doing his thing this morning. I’m pretty sure all of us have some kind of species memory for when we were very much on these guys’ menu. There’s an eerie feeling when you see them up close. And they feature often in my nightmares.
The château. Skitten doesn’t like to be disturbed while Crumb is staying alert for sky-raisins.
It’s been a long day involving a frightening vacuum cleaner.
34C (93F) here in Cape Town. Trinket’s loving it.
We had a fun visit from our neighbour, Coconut, this evening. She and the gremmies are still not sure they’re going to be friends.
