I had to wait half an hour for a train. But I ducked into the Observatory library and it wasn’t all wasted time.

In Krakatoa’s first year, @sad_ivan left to live in England for a while on September 11, 2001 (I remember the exact date for some reason). So now I had to play all the guitar and he thoughtfully tabbed our this beautiful surf instrumental called, Roamin Bison, for me - and even added some helpful advice at the bottom.

Good thing too, since both of us have long since forgotten how to play it. It’s on our soundcloud though if you want to search and listen.

The surf rig is almost perfect. But it’s the nature of electric guitar players to tinker. This old Japanese Fender has the right pickups, the right pick guard, and - almost - the right bridge. Worthy of fronting Africa’s longest running surf instro band, Krakatoa.
